Termicide Sealant is a termite resistant one part silicone sealant especially designed for sealing applications on zincalume, galvanised iron, anodized aluminium coated steel products and rigid PVC. For other substrates and more details contact Termicide Pty Ltd.

All treatments should be based on observed signs and symptoms of distress of the patient.
Consideration should be given to the possibility that overexposure to materials other than this product may have occurred.

Limited animal (rat) data showed that at high vapour concentration ofmethylethylketoxime narcotic effects are observed.
Ingestion: LD50 (rat) = 2400-3700 mg/kg.

Personal hygiene is an important work practice exposure control measure and the following general measures should be undertaken when working with or handling this material:
1. Do not store, use, and/or consume foods, beverages, tobacco products or cosmetics in areas where this material is stored.
2. Wash hands and face carefully before eating, drinking, using tobacco, applying cosmetics or using the toilet.
3. Wash exposed skin promptly to remove accidental splashes of contact with this material.

Non-flammable. Combustible. Will bum if involved in a fIre but not considered to be significant fIre risk. The main combustion products are silica, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

The foregoing data applies to the uncured sealant. The hazards associated with this product are due mainly to the reactive silane cross linkers, and the vapours given off when the sealant reacts with moisture in the air. When curing is complete, the resulting product is an inert, non-toxic silicon elastomer.

Low hazard. Non-flammable paste. Forms essentially amorphous silica, carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide on combustion. Fire can be extinguished by carbon dioxide, powder or water type extinguisher.

Methylethylketoxime set free upon curing presents a notable risk of toxicity, when large amounts of the product is used in an enclosed area, e.g. a small unventilated bathroom. Amorphous silica and other fme powder ingredients are bound in the paste mixture and do not present any risk of toxicity under normal conditions or use and handling.
